Welcome to the Northwest Rett Syndrome FoundationThe NWRSF is currently working on our 2009 conference. The conference dates will be August 6th through the 9th, 2009, and the event will be held at the new conference center in downtown Salem, OR. Keep an eye on the site for conference details late in the year.Breaking News: There is a spot open in a staffed residence in Washington state that would be perfect for an adult with Rett Syndrome. For more details, click here. We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of a series of groundbreaking research trials at the University of Victoria under the supervision of our board member and medical advisor Patrick McLeod, MD. After the success of the preliminary basic science research, his team has applied for funding to bring his discoveries to the clinical setting. The NWRSF thanks all the people who made contributions to this cause. We are sad to report the passing of NWRSF foundation member Jenaya Leishman.
